It was perfect on paper, and delivered in person. The house was spotless as we walked in, and every room had all the amenities needed for our stay. “The chalet was nice and clean when we arrived. Thanks!The coffee maker sucks. It needs to be de-scaled badly or replaced as it will not heat water anymore. This chalet should absolutely have a pour-over alternative to K-cups - a carafe and some coffee filters. C'mon, good coffee is a basic necessity.The unit is also missing some expected staples, like sugar for crissakes and vinegar. There was foil but no plastic wrap. You ought to have a checklist. We loved the fireplace and house layout. One bathroom becomes an issue at times. The TV (although we didn't watch much, we wanted to watch a game at night is located upstairs in a strange location so we moved it down the the proper space. The furniture is really gross and old. “The house and property were beautiful. The perfect winter Vermont weekend getaway we were looking for. Sledding for the kids and wood stove to keep cozy by. A couple of issues we had were two smoke detectors chirping low battery as soon as we arrived, and while the house did seem clean, there was evidence of rodent nesting in the kitchen. Vacasa quickly offered to come out. I recommend that VRBO indicate 4WD required in winter. This was not indicated on the VRBO website and we didn't see……
