“peace quiet and strolling thru the fields in back was pleased by staff cutting a path to creek and I got many pictures of flowers and nature. Enjoyed the calming ambience too.”

“Couldn’t get into one of the rooms shown but I think the door was swollen, decent sized place right off of downtown, easy parking and access. Will be staying again come spring. Only real issue was I couldn’t get the thermostat to work, it only went to AC not heat (I don’t believe there was AC in the home? I didn’t see a condenser outside) but there was electric heat in every room so we used that during our stay since it was only 2 nights. My son loved the bunk beds and we were able to squeeze……

“Cabin is larger than it appears, easily fit my family and dogs. Nestled in the woods but close to major roads. Very close to Gore Mt. Owners are very quick to respond to any questions. Enjoyed our stay”

“The house is as described and had lots of room for our family. It is off the beaten path but served our needs since with a young child and newborn we were not going to go to restaurants and major attractions. Fun things to keep us occupied: playing in the babbling brook, boating around the pond, playing at the "beach" and hiking in the area. Kitchen was well furnished with plates, etc. and organized. Owner was very prompt to answer any questions we had. Would recommend for a nice relaxing,……

“Fantastic trip overall. I stayed for two nights with my girlfriend and we absolutely loved the cabin. We also got out to High Peaks for a day hike in the Adirondacks. Would absolutely stay here again. Only thing is we didn’t know what time to show up for pizza. Communication was good up until I asked what time, so I’m guessing that message just fell through the cracks. We arrived to the pizza location at 7:30, were informed that it had started at 6:30, and everything was already cleaned up.……

“This cabin, checked every box that was needed for a perfect peaceful, relaxing, unwinding, recharging weekend get away for my wife and I. A must hike owls head mountain. Absolutely amazing. So much to do both directions just down the road from this location. The cabin was extremely clean. Felt just like home. The hot tub was fabulous on a cold evening. Will definitely look into for future weekends. ”
