“We had a great time at the house. It was perfect for kids, who loved spending all day outside going from the playground to the beach to the stream and back again. Lots of space, great location and access to Adirondack hikes. ”

“Our kids and grandkids all meet up with us each February to ski Gore Mt. The cabin was perfect. The kids declared the hosts “so generous!!” as they leave snacks and a hot cocoa bar. “It was a beautiful location and setting. Dragging luggage to the end unit wasn’t the easiest but that’s the only small issue we had. I grew up in North Creek and loved being back there, even if only for a few days. Thanks for being a part of it.”

“The River Beds Lodge was perfect for our group of eleven (3 couples and 5 kids, ages 8--13). The location was perfect -- right next door to ARO river guides rafting company, which is also owned by the same folks. Our group had an amazing experience rafting with them one day, and we stayed a third night to allow us to spend a day at Great Escape nearby. The house was clean and had everything required to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. Dylan was a great host and responded promptly and……

“We had an amazing time at this cabin! The owners are really friendly. We “Rode the Rails” in North Creek, which is about 11 minutes away, and learned some interesting local history about Teddy Roosevelt. After that, we spent some time at Lake George. Our favorite part was sitting by the fire at night, the stars were amazing! The kids loved using the kayaks, and everyone tried fishing, catching a few small perch. We also went to “Oscars Smoke House” picked up some chicken to grill and a raspberry……

“Home is split nicely with bedrooms at one end, communal and rec rooms at other. My bed was fine, but I understand there was some discomfort with 2 other beds. There were only 5 of us, and 8 or 9 beds, so they just switched beds and all was good. Easy location to walk to town - 5 minutes to Logan's, Mountain Market and Charlie Johns. In summer I imagine it would be 10 minutes to town beach. Lots of heat dials to customize to each individual preference. Back porch was nice. Spent a bunch of time……

“Best seal of approval is that we go every year, and we DO. Private setting, roomy house, easy kitchen to cook in, grill on the deck, and accessible to a lot of places if you want to skip that for the day. It is very easy to relax in this place, plenty to do if you are stuck in on rainy days, spacious enough to spread out, and the dogs love it. We never want for more when staying here. Perfect.”

“Wow! What an amazing house in a beautiful, lakeside location. We felt right at home, with lots of room for a multi-generational family vacation. I’ve rented lots of VRBO houses all over the country and overseas, and this one was probably my favorite. Hope to go back again next year!”
