“House was immaculately clean and fresh. Great private location that makes you feel like you’re away from it all. We happened to check in on a hot, humid , 90 degree plus day ( more and more of those in the ADKS these days) and just know there is only 1 portable AC unit in the entire place. Not truly adequate to cool the whole house with the back bedrooms. There are ceiling fans in each bedroom and two floor fans that we found in the closets but if you’re use to AC just be aware, it’s a bit warm.……

“The house is as described and had lots of room for our family. It is off the beaten path but served our needs since with a young child and newborn we were not going to go to restaurants and major attractions. Fun things to keep us occupied: playing in the babbling brook, boating around the pond, playing at the "beach" and hiking in the area. Kitchen was well furnished with plates, etc. and organized. “The cabin was handcrafted by the owner. It has incredible views and is set up for wonderful relaxation. There is even a Japanese style hot tub/bath on the property. The owner is very responsive. “Couldn’t get into one of the rooms shown but I think the door was swollen, decent sized place right off of downtown, easy parking and access. Will be staying again come spring. Only real issue was I couldn’t get the thermostat to work, it only went to AC not heat (I don’t believe there was AC in the home? I didn’t see a condenser outside) but there was electric heat in every room so we used that during our stay since it was only 2 nights. My son loved the bunk beds and we were able to squeeze……

“I rented this home with my husband and kids (two teens and an 8 year old) and we loved this home so much! It feels more modern rustic and you can tell that a lot of thought went into the decor. Every nook and cranny had fun details to explore. Our favorite memories were made relaxing on the enclosed porch swing listening to the stream and floating on the stream itself.
