“Convenience to gore mountain and friendly staff ”

“Alpine Lodge is a very nice, recently renovated hotel. I stayed in a quiet room with a king size bed, two rocking chairs, and a gas fireplace. It was quite cozy and comfortable. A minor disappointment with the accommodation was that there was nowhere to take off snow boots comfortably and stash ski equipment. I stayed while skiing at Gore Mountain. The lodge is located less than 10 minutes away. The other disappointment is not with the lodge but with North Creek. Even though it was a holiday……

“We stayed in January 2025. We loved the friendly, kind staff and the quaintness of the lodge. Sitting by the fire nightly reading and chatting with other guests was a highlight. The breakfast was fantastic! We also appreciated the bag lunch that we created before going out snowshoeing. We loved our room at the Tea House which was on the snowshoe trail. The room was great; could have used several more coat hooks for our towels and snow attire. We rented snowshoes on property at the Outdoor……

“My family and friends would like to thank Tony and Kristi (the owners) for such a great vacation at their home in Chestertown. Everything on the description of the house was accurate. The house was super cozy and comfortable. It was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The owners were helpful with a few questions we had early in our stay and quick to respond. “Our friend group stayed over the weekend to tour Lake George and Johnsburg. The cabin was immaculate. The host graciously provided snacks, beverages, and several household supplies. They accommodated our every request and they communicated with us in an extremely prompt and warm manner. The highlights included the fire pit, the grill, the deck, the den, and the large living room. We obviously will come back.”
