“We stayed at this house because of its proximity to the main snowmobile trail in the area. We rode from there all day around the surrounding areas for lunch and dinner both days.”

Only minor issue was inconsistent water pressure which is not unusual in ski / lake houses like.this. Would definitely rent again ”

“This cute, secluded cabin was perfect for our group of 3. The views are stunning, the cabin charming, and walkable hot tub relaxing (for small fee). Only needed improvements are storm windows to keep strong winter breezes out, or a wood stove to offset the cold. Overall was a very nice stay, and we would for sure book again. ”

“The property was just what we hoped for in an Adirondack location. It was a beautiful setting among rocks and local flora. The house was easily accessible and welcoming upon arrival. The layout of the interior is open and roomy - great for families or groups that really want to share the space. Plenty of nearby hiking/snowmobiling/ shops and restaurants (Old Forge and Inlet).Just some information to prepare for your stay. “Our family of 6 members ranging in age from teen to 70s had a wonderful time spending Thanksgiving on Fourth lake. Every room was comfortable and clean, and we had a blast with the pool table, by the water, and more. We got to see every kind of weather, from hiking to waterfalls to getting "snowed in." Truthfully, we weren't snowed in as Jordan, our host, immediately contacted a plow company when asked, we were just enjoying the snowy views and relaxation so much that we chose to stay in. ……

“This property was exactly as described in the listing, and was a wonderful place to spend my wife's retirement weekend. Being that it is right on 4th lake, I was able to launch my boat at the State launch in Inlet, and dock it right at the house. It easily accommodated 8 adults, and was well stocked with everything we could have needed, including seasoned wood for the enormous fire pit. I would not hesitate to recommend this property, and will definitely rent it again in the future. ”

The wedding took up much of the weekend, but we enjoyed all our time at White Pines. It was closely located to Oak Mountain and the brewery where people gathered the night before to visit. “We came up to ski a few days at Gore. The house was, beautiful, spotless and very comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. My family loved it and we are all looking forward to another trip!”

“If you are looking for a place to stay to ski at Gore Mountain, this is the place. The drive to the mountain was super easy and is only 18 minutes away. The house itself is a bit dated but charming. The house has everything you need in it. towels, toilet paper, blankets, etc. The doors are solid wood with latches instead of door knobs. The fireplace was great to sit in front of after a hard day at the mountain and the hot tub was amazing for the sore muscles. The only complaint I had was the……
