“The pictures are accurate and the front porch was perfect for sitting and drinking coffee! This property is very clean, centrally located in the middle of Houma. The was plenty of room for our family to spread out and enjoy our time there. The only issue we had was that there is so much going on in Houma during Mardi Gras we had problems getting back to the house because of the parades.. Thanks for a great stay. If we make it back that way we will book again!”

“absolutely loved our stay at Blue Bayou! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed relaxing on the porch in the evenings. One of the most spectacular features was the hallway and stairway leading to the master bedroom, painted by the hostess herself. “The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable! The AC cooled the house like a champ despite 90 degree south Louisiana heat. We had a group of three Girl Scout leaders and our 5 kids and had plenty of room. We played games, made lanyards, and just enjoyed each other’s company We left a pizza cutter and measuring cups and spoons for the next visitors since there weren’t any in the kitchen.Overall the house is absolutely adorably charming and well appointed. We’d love to stay again!”

“This was such a memorable birthday! From the enriching history of the property to the coziness of both inside and outside aspects of the home. Mom enjoyed the antique aspects and my boyfriend enjoyed the serenity of the lush trees - I enjoyed that it made me feel like I was in the Princess and the Frog. This was such a perfect spot filled with so many things that made it a good getaway. We enjoyed the gazebo and pond, and to our joy and surprise the little friends in the pond (alligators)!!!!……
