“Wonderful, clean and peaceful place. Very quiet area and private backyard with a little river. We enjoyed the spa and had a little campfire. It was very easy to communicate with the owners, who answered very quickly when we couldn’t find the spa chemicals. The location is very close to some nice family-friendly and dog-friendly hiking trails (5 min drive to Les sentiers de l’amitié) and a short 10 km drive to the mountain biking trails at Montcalm bike park. Anything you might need is easily……

“A well equipped and spacious chalet, located at a quiet and beautiful lake. The check in was simple, the accommodations were clean and ready for our arrival. Everything was problem free and the host was immediately responsive to all requests. The area is quiet and ideal for a family location. The cottage is situated on a private beach with direct access to a small, clean and peaceful lake. I would come back and recommend to others.”

“Great Chalet!The location of the property is lovely, with views of the lake from all 3 floors. Me, my wife, and two teenagers spent a week at 'The Sanctuary' and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The dock gets sun in the early part or the day and shade in the latter. We fished and swam most days. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and used the bbq several times. Under 3 hours drive from Ottawa. The host responded promptly to questions and was pleasant to deal with. Would stay again.”
