“This hotel is located right next to the beach and many other great restaurants in town. However, the facilities are dated: the bed will move, not enough tables in the room, dishes are not thoroughly cleaned and really really thin wall. You have to walk down to the lobby if you wish to borrow a hair dryer. Although my reservation clearly indicated that "breakfast included", all they had was some fruits and cookies. The lady at the reception desk in the morning was really unfriendly, she did not……

“Gorgeous location. Across from one of Carlsbad’s gorgeous beaches. Walkable to lots of dining and shopping and of course the beach! Pretty view on the second floor balcony and a great breakfast. Parking is a little hard and costly at $20 per night but overall, clean rooms, nice amenities, very nice”

“Ok, it’s a neat little house, actually it’s quite charming. Sadly that’s only for the main house. If the description was more clear I would’ve known there are 2 houses that make up the residence. The kids are supposed to stay in the separate house. Seriously? The kids are older so it’s possible but the little house smelled & had mildew on the walls. It was disappointing b/c of that. But again, the main house is really nice. ”
