“Magnifique hôtel avec un personnel à l’écoute disponible, très gentil et très bien situé seul petit reproche, c’est que la chambre n’était pas climatisée et le ventilateur fait quand même un peu de bruit et vu les chaleurs actuelles malheureusement pas très bien dormi !!”

“Extraordinary boutique hotel. We had a delightful stay. The owners show you to your room, are there every day, and offer good sight-seeing and restaurant advice. The room, like all the decor, is lovely, the beds are comfy, and the table on the balcony is great for coffee. “Tolles Hotel 7 km von Biarritz entfernt. Frühstück sehr gut und auch die komplette Anlage hat uns gut gefallen. Zwei Kritikpunkte: zu wenig Liegen am Pool wenn Hotel komplett gebucht ist. Außerdem ist Bad indem Superior Zimmern sehr klein und die Tür zum Bad ist nicht gut angebracht, da sich keine zweite Person im Bad aufhalten kann. Besser wäre eine Schiebetür oder im Notfall gar keine Tür”

“La Frégate feels like a weathered beach lodge. It is clean and comfortable and the ocean view (and constant sound of the waves) is everything! The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice (for an additional €13) and the reception area features a full bar, where you can conveniently order a café or cocktail. The local buses go into Bayonne, Biarritz, Guethary or Saint Jean de Luz. Bedding and bathroom were comfortable. I wish the balcony windows had screens, as small flies appeared on……

The property itself is nestled on gorgeous, expansive grounds with manicured gardens, a lovely swimming pool, and an ambiance that feels both timeless and delightfully welcoming. “The room was basic and in fair condition but what made this a very nice stay was the friendliness and welcome I received when arriving. They even kept the kitchen open a few more minutes for me as I arrived just the dining was finishing. The meal was superb and they have a good selection of wines. The hotel site was conveniently located and reasonably well maintained. This is a recommended stay. ”

“Good location for beaches, sea swimming, surfing etc and a 20minute ish walk gets you into town with lots of restaurants and nice shops. Hotel staff were lovely, hotel was modern and clean. We only had breakfasts and they were very good, freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit and lots more.”
