“This was our second visit, the first was in November 23 when it was cold and grey but we enjoyed it so much we came back to enjoy it in the summer. The gastronomic restaurant is as good as you would expect with prices to match but the brasserie is also outstanding with a far lower price tag. The hotel staff are exceptional, nothing is too much trouble (in the November my wife left her glasses in the room which were promptly dispatched to our home in the UK without issue). “The property is an historical building decorated in a sympathetic way. The grounds were lovely and you could sit out if you wanted to. The bedroom was large but the over bath shower was a bit tricky and needed a hand rail to safely get in and out. Breakfast was simple, croissants, bread, jam and a few bits of cheese. ”

“We had a very short stay en route back from the south. This is a beautiful little hotel close to Calais. So much nicer than other motels I have used for stop overs and excellent value. Lovely old building part of a campsite and restaurant. Lovely breakfast with fresh warm pastries. Would have liked to stay longer but would highly recommend.”
