“Three brothers and two wives met at the Lake House for the Sand Hill Crane Festival in Birchwood. First, the festival was so interesting and fun and a must do if you like birds. Second, the cabin was fabulous! It was a cold weekend but the fireplace kept us cozy. The bedrooms were very comfortable; the kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and utensils; the view of the dock and lake were fabulous. We saw hundreds of sand hill cranes closer up than at the festival viewing site! It was too cold……

“Great stay, great location. I wish it had more space for boat parking. A carport parking for 5 or 6 boats would be great. It has the space.”

“Stayed for a convention held downtown. Nice place to stay. It’s on a main road so a little noisy but nice location. Easy to get downtown. Small wal mart less than a mile away makes it nice if you need anything ”

“Good central location. House is decorated nicely, especially for our family holiday trip. Loved the gas logs! Overall, great stay. However the kitchen cabinets and counter tops are in real need of updating. Definitely a take away from how nice the rest of the house is. We would stay here again. ”
