“thanks, you so much for a wonderful stay. the cabin was beautiful, clean and we loved it. the only issue I would say is trying to get out of the driveway. in a large truck, there was not a lot of room to maneuver and if we had had a second vehicle, I don't know how that would have worked due to the fact I am not use to such tight steep driveways. Overall, the cabin was amazing. thanks, you so much for a wonderful stay”

“What a perfect getaway!! The cabin is secluded which we loved, the yard was beautiful and spacious. So many hiking options in the area and we hiked to the brewery which was great for drinks and dinner. The cabin was clean and welcoming, we really had a great time. Our two dogs came with us and they loved it as much as my husband and myself.”

“When we (6 adult female cousins) arrived, there was a complication completely out of the blue that could not have been anticipated by the owners. The response was wonderful! They came to the property every day of our stay to provide for our unexpected needs. The cabin itself is beautiful! Well stocked kitchen (we cooked a lot!). Comfortable beds. “This place was so beautiful!! We had 8 total people stay for a week and we all absolutely loved it. It was so homey and allowed for us to create a great sense of community during our visit to North Carolina! We hope to continue staying here for future trips to the area, thank you so very much for letting us stay here!!”

“Me and my mom stayed with our dogs while working on our property nearby. The views were spectacular, especially watching fireworks in the valley below. Perfect destination for Fourth of July or just to get out of town and enjoy some tranquility. First time I saw fireflies since my childhood. Highly recommend visiting.”

“Not a person to be seen. When we were there the Linemen where working on the lines they were responsible for most of the traffic on the road no neighbors maybe 10 or 12 cars a day house is clean big kitchen and no cell service or Internet but sign up for star link and take it without.”

“This is a nice little place to stay on the water at Lake James. We did have a few issues with the place. The bathroom fan worked sometimes, but mostly not. The sliding glass door to the kitchen is very hard to lock. This needs attention.”
