“My wife and I (both 70 years old), drove from Texas to Hickory, NC for a three day Christian conference and we booked Heather's house for 3 nights. What a great house, we were surprised how roomy it was. Heather goes out of her way to provide a wide variety of extras to make our stay more pleasureable (water, Kcup pods, toothpaste, shampoo, deoderant, etc. The beds were comfortable and the house felt like a home. We would definitely stay here again.”

“I have stayed at many vacation rentals and this was by far the most organized, thoughtful rental. The owner provided excellent directions to the front door. You open the door to a welcoming foyer and then enter the studio space. This space was so well utilized. King bed, end tables, a two seater sofa, two chairs at the counter, full kitchen. They even provided milk in the fridge for the coffee!!!!! If I'm going to be picky the only thing I could not find was a corkscrew to open a bottle of……

“Booked online, Booking provides good info, lacking specific address AND failed to identify in description key code info. Following difficult to find 1 hour, contacted rental party for key code, no response. waited 0ne hour at 11pm, no response, next day, owner send e mail, will not send code via e mail, then, bookings send email from renter day late of key code. POOR customer service, I wonder if this was a scam property as OWNER should provide key code IMMEDIATLY upon confirm booking. DO NOT……

“The apt was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for downtown Lenoir. The stairs were no issue even for my 65 years.”

“We loved our stay here! Just 5 miles from our son’s home, we were able to bring our grandsons over for an afternoon visit, and we were able to have our breakfasts and dinners here. Clean and quiet, and very private. Thermostatically controlled gas log fireplace for cold morning coffee was awesome!!! Glenda was so accommodating, we love her!”

“Was not what we were expecting as soon as we got into the property we seen bugs cheapest toilet paper you could buy air condition did not reach into the bedroom. Had to go to Walmart and buy a fan to pull the air condition air into the bedroom, no curtains on blinds seems like it was daytime, all the time in the bedroom seems like they were stuff that never was finished inside was not expecting it to be in this kind of shape condition ”

“Wow! Maybe it was because we stayed over a holiday (NYE), or maybe the hosts are just that awesome, but we could not have asked for a better stay with this VRBO. The hosts were lovely and extremely accommodating, all while staying out of site. The hot tub was on their personal porch to their home, however, we never once felt there was any invasion of privacy and it seemed like the host(s) were never there. Could not have asked for a better first time experience with VRBO! ”
