“Unable to get a hotel room so this was the only alternative. The RV was listed as big enough to sleep 4. Three would have been possible but 4 a stretch and there’s no way 4 people could have taken a hot shower. I got a lukewarm one day one (only in for several minutes) and my son’s was ice cold. Also the place was clean but smelled of stale beer. Also the AC ran constantly even though thermostat was set at 75 degrees. Place was frigid.”

“I’ve been searching for months to find a relaxing and secluded spot to unwind for my birthday. This little cabin stood out! Check in was super easy! Just text the host when you are arriving, and the door will be opened prior to your arrival. The cabin was exactly as described and if you read the reviews, you’ll know, it was fully stocked with all amenities. The room gives a hotel suite vibe, but cozier. The breakfast amenities were an excellent touch! Fresh eggs, blackberry jam, English muffins!……

“We stayed at the home while getting our son settled in as a freshman at Virginia Tech and also spent some time enjoying the area. It's an older building in a rustic setting, but the home has been updated and we found it to be clean and comfortable. The nearby creek is lovely. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.”

“Staying at this remote cabin made for an enjoyable Virginia Tech weekend! My wife and I were visiting our daughter for Family Weekend at VT. We decided to forgo a hotel and find a space with a kitchen, where we could be away from the long lines at restaurants and other venues that was our experience the previous Family Weekend.
