“The General's Cabin was a wonderful place for my husband and me to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. The cabin was exceptionally clean. Melissa had thought of everything you could possibly need. Inside had a well-stocked kitchen, a great coffee/tea bar, lots of little extras to make the stay enjoyable, extra towels, blankets, pillows etc. In the bathrooms there was a basket of soaps, lotions, shampoos and even toothbrushes in case you forgot to bring your own. Paper products provided……

“Thanks, David for the great week at your home. What we loved about the property was the direct lake access, plenty of room for our family (6 adults, one toddler, 2 pups) . The beds were comfortable, central air only needed our first day, and the bathrooms and kitchen were very clean. We spent a lot of time on the deck, enjoying the view of the lake, and the fire pit was perfect for a cool August night. The carpets are a bit worn with some stains, but easily overlooked. Plenty to do in the area……

“Our family of 4 really enjoyed our weekend stay at the Grand Mare Vanderbilt. The apartment was clean and well appointed. Owners are great communicators! Check-in and out instructions were clear and easy. The building is located on a lovely tree lined street and an easy walk to and from downtown Saratoga. ”

“The space is perfect for large groups, we had 13 people. The top floor was the best place to hang which allowed people to be able to peel off and have some time to themselves when they needed. It’s just under a 10 minute walk to downtown, check out Lucy’s Bar and The Misfit. Tim was an excellent host and ensured we had everything we needed, would recommend this property to anyone looking for a fun girls trip! ”

“Very comfortable, top floor, modern apartment with plenty of space for four of us in heritage home. The home retains its original, creaky stairs (3 flights up), but the apartment itself has been nicely updated with a good kitchen and nice, large deck. Pretty, quiet neighborhood of beautiful homes and a very easy, short walk to the Saratoga racetrack and downtown. Would stay again but bring own supplies. Manager was responsive, but it was annoying to only have one pod each for dishwasher and……

“My sister and I spent a week here. The location is excellent, and there is so much to do. We loved the option of swimming in the lake or the pool. The trolly access is a big plus.”
