“Fantastic place. Would highly recommend staying here. Cosy, clean and all the facilities you need. So if want to cook Dave and Co. have put a lot of thought into making it a home from home. Everything you need is there. If cooking is not for you there's always the microwave! Or you could visit the island's Gealic Heritage centre. Great food. We walked to it.... superb walk taking in the flora and fauna. So peaceful. Good that there is good WiFi... Unfortunately we all seem to want to be……

“I wanted to have a home base in western Scotland for a few weeks of sightseeing and resting and was delighted by the pictures of this cottage. Being able to look straight out at the water (or mud flats during low tide) and sailboats in the marina was special, as was watching the many happy ducks and hoppity rabbits on the grassy verge. The gardens were lovely, the kitchen well-supplied, and the main room thoughtfully designed and decorated. The bathroom had very hot water but I found the shower……

“Apartments were just what we needed. Place was clean and comfortable. We stayed 2 nights and used the place to explore Skye. Bathroom was large and kitchen had what we needed. Great views right outside as the property is a sheep farm on a small loch with waterfalls coming down the hillside. ”

“We stayed in the cottage 24 years ago and loved it. It has not changed much. This is the charm of the place. The cottage is situated in a quiet setting on Loch Sunart and after exploring all day was a nice place to relax and unwind. Our host Charlie was great. We had a water issue and it was handled straight away. I hope to return soon. A week was to short.”

Highlights of our stay were the white sandy beaches at Portruick and Sanna, the magical setting of Castle Tioram and the ancient Oakwood and riverside at Ariundle.”
