“Both my wife and I were looking for simple accommodations for the weekend. We were interested in what an off-grid accommodation would be like. This fit the bill perfect. The bedroom cabin was comfortable. We did not take advantage of the "outdoor" kitchen but it seemed to have everything one would want to make meals. After we bicycled the Cowichan Valley Trail (CVT) for the day the shower in the shower/bathroom room was ideal! Eveything was neat, clean and tidy. We would recommend this place to……

“We loved staying here! It was a relaxing and comfortable little getaway! The animals wandering around were so fun too! Lots of great little places in the area to explore (i.e., Cowichan River, Zanatta Winery, Chemainus River Park). Definitely would recommend!”

“This was a beautiful property. Check-in was easy. The unit was clean with good amenities. Beautiful lake front view and access to the dock. Comfortable beds. very polite and helpful communication but would like communication to be consistently quicker (sometimes it took a full day for a request to change check in or check out or ask for items). ”

“We loved staying here. It was the perfect place to spend a long weekend. The cottage was clean, peaceful, and equipped with everything we needed. The host was extremely welcoming and responsive to any questions we had. Morning coffee/tea out on the deck was the highlight for sure!”

“We absolutely loved Tara's cabin in the forest! It was incredibly relaxing and the outdoor tub was such a nice touch. We had such a peaceful time and absolutely loved everything. Tara was super friendly and helpful and gave us great local recommendations. I highly recommend!!”
