“This place was amazing. Perfect location for daily excursions. The cottage itself was wonderful!!!! Great open concept with large showers and water pressure. The beds were comfortable. The hostess was informative and made our stay more amazing with lemon cake. We will highly recommend this location.”

“We were absolutely delighted to arrive at this little slice of heaven after a week in Dublin. The peaceful estate was like something out of a dream and the gate house was perfect for us. We can't wait to return with our children. It is a perfect getaway for a family of 3 or 4. The house had all the amenities to cook. House was clean and better than advertised. ”

“We spent 5 days in this beautiful college in Ballyvaughan.Location is great. Just a short walk to the beach and a 5 min drive to the village, where we could find easily a shop that provides with food and all you may need for your stay. Good starting point for the exploration of Irlands western part.The interior of the house is as described. Nothing was missing for us and we enjoyed the spacious kitchen and the cozy living room. “We stayed for 2 wonderful off grid weeks at this charming cottage. Eileen was a wonderful host. I was amazed at how responsive she was during the planning especially since there was such a time difference in our locations. My husband has some mobility issues, and Eileen answered all our questions to make sure that we were going to be comfortable. The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed plus more for our extended stay. We had safety vests for walking, a Tesco grocery tag and reusable……

“The house was very clean except for the carpets. There was a lot of room for our group. The rooms were large and adequately furnished. The kitchen utensils and cookware was a bit sparse. The rent was very reasonable, but I would rather pay a bit more and not have to “rent” towels or supply additional toilet paper or buy dish soap. ”
