“The place was in a lovely setting with a fishable creek across the road, great for us 4 trout fishermen. It was spotless, comfy, and easy to use for prepping meals. You do need to be active to climb up and down all the steps to get in and out, but it was good exercise for 4 aging seniors. And Terri was a very helpful and communicative host.”

“My husband, parents, our 2 pups and I, all stayed in this comfortably quaint home just for one night. We were on our way back to Ohio from Oak Island, NC, and it was a lovely middle point to rest for the night. Laura was very accommodating to allow us to bring our 2 pups who travel with us everywhere. She was also kind to let us check-in a little early as we made good time. The home is set in a gorgeous setting on a private road a few miles from 77. We went to Wytheville, about 20 minutes away,……

“It was so peaceful and beautiful. My kids and I stayed. We had a lot of fun. We enjoyed using that oven. The sink is cute. I slept on the bottom bunk it was so incredibly comfortable. Enjoyed the porch a great deal. ”

“The pictures don’t do justice for how beautiful this place was the views was amazing. I really enjoyed my stay there. There is nothing like having your morning coffee on the porch while watching deer graze not even bothered by you. We met the owners and they were very nice and welcoming. 10/10 recommend! The only regret I have is not booking more days here. ”

“I would stay here again! That says a lot! The views and getting to pet the horses was an incredible experience. The AC was new! I saw maybe 2 ants. The kitchen had plenty of pots & pans to cook for our group of 12. There are 6 bedrooms. The two queen beds in a large space, is in the basement plus two bedrooms. Everyone slept well. The linen was plentiful in each bathroom & the kitchen. Always love to have a welcome basket upon arrival of the VRBO. Kirby was prompt to answer any questions via……

“The cottage is nice and communication was good. The town of Damascus is very small, so be mindful that theres not any food/stores open late. Overall, I stayed at the house while attending the race in Bristol. The cottage took about 40 minutes to get to, including traffic from Bristol Motor speedway. ”

“Excellent property that offers total seclusion and a chance to rejuvenate. Cell service is pretty much non-existent ( at least on the Verizon network). That being said the property has an excellent WiFi signal. Cottage offers all the amenities and the kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking essentials.”
