“We were in Chania last year and walked past this property. It looked so interesting, we tracked it down to book it for 2025 and were not disappointed. Waking up to the sea view was wonderful: sitting on the terrace with a cup of coffee watching the world go by was even better! There is a supply of plates, bowls and cutlery if you want to do some basic self-catering - and we went hunter-gathering at the amazing local market for olives, cheese and tomatoes to do just that. “Excellent for a one night stop before flight. Beautiful apartments set into the hillside overlooking Souda Bay. Incredibly modern, new and super clean. Very spacious rooms, equipped with all the essentials and also outstanding views. Staff are absolutely wonderful. Nothing was an issue for them. The receptionist was incredibly accommodating with my requests and really lovely to deal with. Wonderful small pool area which again, has an incredible view of Souda bay and the mountains. Well……

“The property is in a residential area so you really feel like you're in traditional Crete. We were so pleased to find a light and airy apartment on arrival. It was really clean and well decorated. It was nice to find things like beach umbrellas, books, inflatables etc. in the communal areas that we were able to use. There is a fabulous restaurant over the road that is much cheaper than the places in town and offers a really nice variety of traditional Cretan food. The staff were so lovely and……

“This was an amazing experience at such a lovely spot overlooking the harbor and lighthouse. We stayed in the Family Suite above Lithos restaurant. The extra cost even though we only needed one room/one bed was very well worth it. It was a bit difficult to find as we had to check in at Domus Renier property (their sister boutique hotel). This is entered through Zepos restaurant which is on the harbor. This part was not communicated to us so we had to call from the number given to us for Domus……

“Absolutely beautiful hotel in the most ideal location for a first time traveler like myself. All of the staff were very nice and helpful throughout my stay! I had a one bedroom king suite (3rd floor, so yes there are some stairs!) with a private balcony overlooking the harbor. Absolutely stunning views! The town itself is very walkable and the Elia sits from and center directly on the Chania Harbor! If you were looking at this hotel, don’t second-guess it and just book it you won’t regret it!”
