“This home is beautiful and tucked away in a woody neighborhood. It is spacious and well-appointed. I loved the view from all the balconies. You can see the water amongst all the trees. The home is well-loved and gorgeous. (meaning you can tell that it's not brand new, but that doesn't matter because it's very cool looking) I love that it's not a white and grey box. There were records to play and so many games available. The art on the wall is adorable. I only wish we'd had more time there. It's……

“Wonderful place. Five star plus. Outstanding amenities and was stocked incredibly well from kitchen spices to plenty of plush bath towels and extra linens and blankets We were amazed at how well the kitchen was stocked- dishes, glassware, pots, pans, appliances etc. even coffee! There were lawn games and outdoor chairs. The house itself was roomy and clean, located right on the lake with a wonderful large yard, fire pit, hot tub and covered boat dock not to forget the gorgeous lake & mountain……

“There are restaurants and a supermarket near this vacation rental, and it’s very convenient to walk to both for shopping and dining.From here, it takes no more than 20 minutes by car to reach the waterfall park, the beach, or downtown.The room is fully equipped, clean, and fresh. “The house is absolutely amazing and peaceful with fantastic views of the sea!The kitchen is amazingly stocked with everything that you could ever want! As well as very quality kitchen things!The house was very clean and quiet!The negative is that to get to the home was a challenge. “The property was well maintained. Registration was completed easily for a last minute reservation. Our two small dogs enjoyed the outdoors in the fenced backyard. The beds were comfortable. One full, one queen, one futon. One shower, toilet and sink. The hot tub was very relaxing. Everything was well organized with easy to understand instructions. Had an enjoyable stay!”

“Communication with John was easy from beginning to end. While the house might be a bit dated, it's clean, comfortable, in a fairly convenient location and of course the view out to the Similk bay is 1000% worth it. We spent a full work week partially remote working and partially exploring Anacortes and the San Juans island region. Major thanks to John who when I asked him about the coffee making situation told me what was there but asked me what I'd prefer. I just happened to send him a picture……

“Great stay! The home was comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. Location was perfect! Walking distance to market and restaurant. Beautiful yard with lots of space. Private beach access was ideal and low tide was so fun to explore. We even experienced one night with bioluminescence on beach. Fantastic stay!!”
