“Staying at The Old Talbott Tavern is a special treat. The building is very historic, especially the dining room in the 1799 part of the building with the ancient timbers and two gorgeous stone fire places. We split an order of the beef stew. The rooms are very nice, big, and quite comfortable. We stayed in a room in the newer section (only about 100 years old) with windows looking out on the main street and town square. “This hotel was perfect for our stay in Bardstown, KY. It was very clean, quiet, and the breakfast selection was EXTENSIVE. The biggest breakfast selection I've personally ever seen staying at a hotel. The only downside of our stay was that the pool was too cold for us to swim in.
