“Close to the airport, like the closest! Someone available for a late check in and easy to check out. Just very convenient. Lots of uber eats options near by and some places to eat within walking distance in the day. ”

“I stayed at Selina/Socialtel San Jose for about a week until the 28th of January 2025 and my Spirit Animal for the stay was a Sloth because I did mostly nothing in the morning, then took a rest in the afternoon. One might not think this a feasible feat in a city such as San Jose. But, I accepted the challenge and made good on it. Mae, aquí pulseándola! I've stayed here at this property many times since my first time in 2019 or 2020. And, the staff has always been welcoming. It was fun to hang……

“Ya no existe este hostal, hospedamos de imprevisto pues hariamos escala, no pensabamos en hospedarnos, sin embargo para estar comodos, lo hicimos, fue el mismo dia la reservacion y llegamos aprox 10pm, tocamos en el hostal y nos dijeron que tenian ya mas de un año sin operar y les dije que por que sigue operando o anunciado en expedia... contacte a expedia y me dijeron que ya no podian hacer nada pues como reserve ese mismo dia a las 7:40pm aprox, que ya habia iniciado el check in, cuando nunca……

“No tuvimos contacto directo con el personal del lugar sin embargo siempre hubo comunicación y apoyo vía mensaje con ellos. A la noche es mejor no salir cerca. Útil si usaras la terminal de buses ya que queda muy cerca. ”

“This is pretty good for a short stay downtown San Jose. The downside is that it's a hostel, not a hotel. It's weird that they call it a hotel. And of course I had a private room with a private bathroom but this is definitely not a hotel.”

“Very friendly staff who were super accommodating — they extended checkout time by 90 minutes when I needed to work remotely from a quiet place. The breakfast was nice -- make-your-own eggs and pancakes -- and the common areas were great to hang out in. One word of caution: They didn't have a record of my Expedia reservation when I arrived, so if at all possible, call and confirm they've received it.”

There are outlet available on each bed which is useful. It's really beautiful too. One of most beautiful hostel I stayed in my two years. The service is great too. They are very nice people as well they try their best to adapt to your need. As I don't eat some specific food, they offered me a toasted bread with avocado for breakfast.……
