Police presence and police cameras around town make it safer than other areas. The staff is very supportive and will offer their guidance for a better stay. Safety lockers available. “Close to the airport, like the closest! Someone available for a late check in and easy to check out. Just very convenient. Lots of uber eats options near by and some places to eat within walking distance in the day. ”

“Great location in the middle of the town, easy acces to Beach and Town restaurants, safe, good and friendly staff. My only concern is the water that sometimes is very low pressure and sometimes even not running water but i believe as they explained is a City problem not a hotel problem. ”

“Emplacement parfait, près de l'aéroport, donc très pratique pour une nuit avant un vol. Shuttle gratuit pour nous amener à l'aéroport. Restaurant au 4e étage, donc pas besoin de sortir pour manger quelque chose. Présence d'une ascenseur pour monter et descendre d'un étage à l'autre. Draps et chambre propres. Pas de savon ni de papier à main dans la salle de bain et les divans dans le hall d'entrée de l'hostel et les fauteuils dans le corridor sont très vieux (je doute de leur propreté)”

“I was only here one night, in a private room. It was about as basic as it gets. The bed was okay but I could feel the individual springs. The included breakfast was alright but nothing spectacular. The staff were all very polite and professional, but the property itself was very much the stereotypical hostel, passable but not memorable.”

“I stayed at Selina/Socialtel San Jose for about a week until the 28th of January 2025 and my Spirit Animal for the stay was a Sloth because I did mostly nothing in the morning, then took a rest in the afternoon. One might not think this a feasible feat in a city such as San Jose. But, I accepted the challenge and made good on it. Mae, aquí pulseándola! I've stayed here at this property many times since my first time in 2019 or 2020. And, the staff has always been welcoming. It was fun to hang……

“I truly enjoyed my stay at La Tribu. I would recommend it to any woman looking to have an enriching experience. I met so many girls from all around the world and the activities were so fun. I loved the girly aesthetic and it was very clean. I was a bit taken aback from the surrounding area, but apart from that I felt really safe. 10/10 I’m considering to come back again.”

“It was a beautiful property! Like a treehouse tucked away in the jungle, but right on the main strip 5 mins across the street from playa Carmen. Close to great cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores. Our check in process went smoothly and the private family room was perfect, except that we noticed quite quickly the AC wasn’t working on the 2nd level in the bedrooms. The staff were so kind and quick to work hard and fix it by the time we went got back for dinner. 10/10 customer service. Would……
