“We were greeted by our host Darren on arrival. He had been communicating with us after our booking to guide us in our aero. Beautiful courtyard in this boutique b&b. After our arrival in the evening, we stepped next door, purchased a beer and snacks, and walked thru the neighborhood, and found a great bench to sit and enjoy the evening. We slept in comfort with the window open - very cool breeze!”

“The property is very quaint, the rooms are large and fit our family of 6 just fine. The staff is great, the pool is amazing, and the views of the beautiful trees and wildlife were top notch. Each day a family of macaws would fly over the hotel while we were eating breakfast, it was breathtakingly beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel. ”

“The host was very personable and took care to provide information of things to do around the surrounding area. However, the road to get to the hotel from Arenal was treacherous as it was mostly uphill, lots of curves and unpaved making it difficult to navigate.”

“Fantastic! Very friendly, knowledgeable and Extremely helpful staff, arranging bookings for all surrounding activities at no extra coast, full of good tips! There is a glorious view all the way till the ocean with breathtaking sunset, animals all over the place ( capuchin monkeys, coatis, peccary, humming birds...) nice breakfast, yummy home made jam! Very charming and spacious cabin/lodge. I would happily go back anytime! ”

“Casa Maria was clean and staff was communicative and helpful. Shutter service to the airport was arranged for us and everything ran smoothly.”
