“We stayed in villa 9 which is a nice sized studio. It has a very nice, well equipped kitchen and a very good sized bathroom and shower. Very nicely decorated. No elevator so be prepared to climb stairs but who doesn’t need a little exercise every day. It had great views of the ocean from the room and blackout curtains for that early morning sun and the rooftop is very nice with gorgeous views as well. There’s a pool on the ground level which my husband enjoyed and it’s just a short few blocks……

“Lovely stay in Casita number three. Prompt responses from the hosts when we had questions. Other guests super friendly, great location out of the busy little town but still walkable our room didn’t have a view, but we loved sitting out on the patio in the morning and having coffee. ”

“We would prefer a small table & chairs,stools are to high & uncomfortable for eating .Hot water at the kitchen sink,other places we stayed had hot water at kitchen & long stays cleaning services should be free once a week..We were there 3 weeks. Our stay was wonderful @ the Casa Makawe in the large king bedroom with large front balcony very clean. Would definitely recommend a stay @ the Casa Makawe.. ”

“The property, to no fault of their own, was very noisy due to construction directly across the street which meant we could not enjoy the pool. The manager was not around a lot, I had a complaint about people in the pool after midnight, they were smoking and drinking until after 1am but the manager was not around to tell. I would stay there again, but I would google map the area to see where the construction was taking place.”
