“not a very friendly place to stay, our reservation got 'lost' and we weren't sure if there is space for us... we booked and paid two double rooms and were given a double and a bad smelling single with a bath without toilet seat in the end (had to complain and finally got the two doubles we paid for). we did not feel we were welcome in the rifugio. no information on the surroundings were given at all and the food wasn't as good as expected. the rooms were okay in the end but the bath really……

“La seule question a se poser: qu est ce qu un si magnifique hotel fait au milieu de nul part? “Dålig information om allt, vi fick gå med altl bagage 230 meter p.g.a. vägarbete. När vi kom till receptionen och skulle checka in så fick vi en kortnyckel utan den lilla pappersfickan där man normalt skriver in rumsnummer, tur att man inte har alzheimers sjukdom. Väl till rummet så fick vi inte havsutsikt som vi hade bokat, tillbaka till receptionen och få ett rum med havsutsikt. Väl inne så finns det glasdörrar med fantastik utsikt, det tråkiga att dessa var låsta med en gammal skruv som var……

“This is a beautiful property where we, unfortunately, stayed on Easter Sunday. We will planning a trip to Mt. Etna on 4/21, so it seemed like a good choice for the day before. We had hoped we could be accommodated at their restaurant since we were staying at the hotel, but we were told it was full. Had we known the time we would arrive, we could have made a reservation but we were traveling from Cefalu through mountains and had no idea when we would arrive. We think they could have had one……

“Abbiamo prenotato alle 4 del pomeriggio in giorno infrasettimanale del mese di ottobre, ormai fuori stagione, e dopo mezz'ora eravamo lì. Struttura deserta, nessuno in vista. Chiamiamo il proprietario e in pochi minuti ( intanto noi ci eravamo accomodati in piscina..) arriva una gentile ragazza che ci consegna le chiavi , poi un'altro ragazzo che ci tira fuori le sdraio (oramai riposte visto la data). Camera semplice ma spaziosa e pulita, struttura immersa nelle vigne, spazi comuni ordinati e……
