“This property has excellent potential, but currently is overpriced. We had no tv while there, internet was down second day due to changing providers, not enough dishes to feed 5 people, only one ratty dish towel, lawn chairs instead of real indoor seating. Beds were comfortable but some sheets had holes in them. If you like rustic this is perfect. The cabins are set back in the woods making it feel you are out in the woods. With a bit of updating, this place would be amazing. Hosts are friendly,……

“Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. ”

“Property is quite unique in design and memorable. Although a bit off the beaten path it is quite close to town and other attractions. You hear and see wildlife (monkeys, coatis, birds) and there is a lot of room that allows private accommodations for 3 separate couples. I would suggest flashlights be provided (short power outage and at night the premises outside are quite dark). No cleaning during 3 days there, but not really an issue. Kitchen is well equipped and overall place is comfortable……

“Just rent this house now and don't look elsewhere! Amazing view from the property. We saw a toucan, monkeys, coatis, agoutis, and other birds right from the porch. Close to everything in town and attractions. We had great communication with Daniela the host, and she arranged great guided tours for us. A truly incredible propety.”

“I recently stayed 3 nights at Villa Floresta Monteverde, and it was a fantastic experience. The villa is located in a very quiet area, offering complete privacy—you don’t notice the neighbors at all. The accommodation is modern, beautifully furnished, and features a lovely terrace and an amazing hot tub. The host was very friendly and communicative. However, one minor issue was that I only received the location details about 2 hours before the check-in time, which caused a bit of last-minute……

“Gorgeous grounds and view. Comfortable beds. Great have a kitchen. The water in the shower was terrible! Suddenly it would be ice cold then suddenly blistering hot. We both hated that, but otherwise the apartment was perfect. The housekeeper was awesome!”

“We had a good stay at Casa Cielo. The sunsets and sunrises are absolutely amazing! The bed was comfortable however it was really short. Also, FYI the cabin is more on the rustic side and the balcony could use some work. ”
