“The home had everything we needed. We absolutely loved the chairs overlooking the views. Complete peace for our small family. Our teens loved the hammocks and many nooks to cozy up in to read! We appreciate all the “labeled directions” around the house. But they almost made the home feel like student dormitory. As we were preparing to leave at 10am, I‘m assuming one of the staff member arrived and just sat in the car waiting for us to leave. We weren’t rushed in any way, but it didn’t feel like……

“Property was exactly as advertised. Very well equipped and comfortable - lacking for nothing at all (other than a complaint from my wife that there was no kettle !).Nicely located within easy walking distance of everything in Anacortes.Highly recommended.”

“The house worked out well for our group of six. The view was wonderful. We watched three eagles one morning. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. The house is dated and there was some cleanliness issues. The internet was not satisfactorily. But overall it was a good place to stay for our group. ”

We got really lucky with the weather, and took full advantage of the opportunities for kayaking, ping pong, walking, cooking, eating, etc. We've enjoyed a variety of rental homes over the years, but this location is a little more fabulous in every way. “If you’re looking to be near the town, you can’t do much better than this. Short walk to the cafes and restaurants. Has a lovely tub upstairs, which felt amazing after a long day hiking. Would recommend to anyone looking for an Eastsound getaway. ”

“We have been coming to Orcas annually for Spring Break for almost a decade and have stayed in a bunch of different places. This is definitely one of our favorites. The walk to the shared beach is easy and the beach is great. The house is well-appointed and comfortable. Our biggest piece of feedback is one that most houses get: not enough comfortable seating for a family of 4. The one couch is getting tired and the chairs are not cozy enough. If a place sleeps 4, there should always be at least 1……

“The "Q" was just what I had hoped for. We were in Anacortes for a long weekend of family gatherings and wedding. I wanted somewhere that gave my husband and I easy access to the venue but also a place we could go to relax, rest and prepare some of our own meals. The Q was perfect. It was so clean, quiet, comfortable. We really appreciated having the kitchen stocked with some basic needs including coffee on our arrival. ”
