“Communication was great. The unit was easy to access and very clean. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk into downtown. Grocery store nearby.”

“The property is located in a quiet and relatively safe area. Plenty of local attractions, shopping centers, and dining options are within walking distance. The unit is spacious and has plenty of amenities, such as free WiFi, private parking, and all the small comforts of home. There were plenty of extra towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc. However, some of the spare towels were dirty from being stored under the bathroom sinks. “The blankets were stained and the couches called “beds” were super hard and not comfortable and one of them was only about 4 feet long. Fortunately they did have an air mattress in the closet that we used. The location was pretty sketchy too with a super small parking area that was hard to get into with a large vehicle.”

“I loved staying here. i was surprised to see a note as i walk in stating volume buttons on the tv do not work. Upon further investigation, the TV has a heavy layer of dust on it. It is a plasma from 2012. As a tech geek i hate that the TV is so outdated. As a consumer i dont like that nothing about the TV was said in the listing. Outside of that, the stay was magnificent. 1 star taken away because there was no prior communication about a broken tv, ”

“The location of the apartment was good for our trip purpose making it quick to get there to/from LAX. The apartment layout was great, although the living room furniture for 4 adults was not very comfortable. The check in/out process was not at all easy or convenient.”

“Convenient location. Just as pictured. It can sleep 3 but the sleeper couch is not the most comfortable. It could extra blankets so that the 3rd person can actually have something to cover up with as well. Beyond that everything was great and I would most definitely opt to stay there again.”

“DO NOT STAY HERE. We’ve tried to get a refund for this reservation, both from the host and VRBO. The host has been unresponsive, and VRBO has not been able to help us. Basically, this unit is a broken down, very old building. Pieces were missing from the windows, so air could flow right in. We saw a roach on the stairs. There was hair on the ground and stains on the chairs. The furniture seemed extremely cheap. We took one look at the place, then got right back in the car and left and got a……

“A perfect place from which to explore the city. Well-supplied, comfortable and very clean apartment. Big construction site across the street didn't bother us. Noise was typical city stuff.Check-in process was a bit elaborate, with the lock box inside a pay lot which I had a little trouble finding. But management answered my call right away and helped me out, and were very responsive throughout our stay.”

“The unit was spotless upon our arrival and had everything we needed for our 6 day stay, including a highchair for when our granddaughter came to see us. The bedrooms are roomy, each with an ensuite bath and comfortable bed. The location is downtown and a quick walk to the restaurants and coffee shops we love. Will definitely book again. ”

“We had a great trip. The apartment is nice, and being able to cook our own meals was key. There is an easy access Trader Joe’s in between Universal and the apartment. Everything is clean and as described in the listing/photos. We plan to visit again. ”
