“I would suggest that communication about location include the name of the building and the section of the city, i.e., Latitud Yoses, San Pedro, San José. That would have made my getting here MUCH easier than simply Calle 35, San José. Since Call35 is only a block and a half long, locals cannot even tell you where it is. More detail would have been much more helpful.”

“Loved the very close proximity to the airport for our early morning flight. Clean, cute and comfortable. We struggled with the payment system, but that was a phone service issue on our end. Would have been easier if we could've paid in the Expedia app. The owner was very accommodating though and met us so we could pay with cash. Thank you!”

“We had a very comfortable 3 night stay in this studio apt. It is in an apt building that seems dedicated to short term stays. The front desk staff were excellent and they all spoke very good English, which was helpful for us. They made good recommendations for restaurants and were just all very pleasant. Building security waa great. The building location waa great for us as it was close enough to walk to some museums and very close to a good selection of fun restaurants. The building amenities……

“We loved this little spot! It was a great place to land after our flight. Very close to downtown Alajuela, which meant that we could walk out our door in the morning and find a nice cafe and good food at the Central Market. Our only challenge was that the traffic was quite loud overnight; my partner had a hard time sleeping, even with the provided earplugs. I recommend this location for sure for heavy sleepers.”

“Nothing impressive about location. Condo is located in industrial area. Gas trucks coming and going. Located down steep hill which creates wind tunnel. The shower has no place for toiletries. Restaurants are just ok. No cleaning supplies. ”
