“BEE Suites is located in a generally nice area of San Jose with lots of dining and bar options within walking distance. The area right around the Suites is somewhat of an eye sore. The room is nice and just like photos on Expedia and Google. They don’t perform daily cleaning of the rooms so you will have to request new towels, toilet paper, etc. You can easily get in touch with BEE Suites via WhatsApp, and they will initiate communication with you periodically. The rooftop jacuzzi was awesome……

Police presence and police cameras around town make it safer than other areas. The staff is very supportive and will offer their guidance for a better stay. Safety lockers available. “Perfect spot to stay next to San Jose city-center. Everything is walkable from this small hotel which is half a block from the main square. Staff is very nice, helpful, English-speaking, and accommodating. Free breakfast is large and lots of choices. Room was HUGE and very clean, bathroom was very modern, and the bed was comfortable. High marks!!”

“Stayed second time here. A good hotel with a plenty of history and great athmosphere. We had a chat with the owner - a real nice guy. The hotel is well located. There are plenty of shops nearby. The room we had was huge. I did not miss the ac since ventilation through the windows was sufficient enough. An excellent small scale time travel👍👍👍”

“I stayed at Selina/Socialtel San Jose for about a week until the 28th of January 2025 and my Spirit Animal for the stay was a Sloth because I did mostly nothing in the morning, then took a rest in the afternoon. One might not think this a feasible feat in a city such as San Jose. But, I accepted the challenge and made good on it. Mae, aquí pulseándola! I've stayed here at this property many times since my first time in 2019 or 2020. And, the staff has always been welcoming. It was fun to hang……

“The staff at this hotel was amazing and awesome. Alvaro in the breakfast area was unbelievably great as well as Mercedes. Ricardo Vargas the head chef for breakfast was fantastic and so very considerate in making our experience at breakfast amazing. Edgar was fantastic as well-he was always asking if he could do anything to make our stay great.”
