“This is pretty good for a short stay downtown San Jose. The downside is that it's a hostel, not a hotel. It's weird that they call it a hotel. And of course I had a private room with a private bathroom but this is definitely not a hotel.”

“Absolutely perfect! The facilities are first class, clean and well maintained, but it is the helpful and friendly staff who make it so special. The front desk staff were perfect, and the chef at the free breakfast, Minor, showed us around all the wonderful new fruits, and Tifara helped us arrange a late check out to coincide with our shuttle. “We stayed here for only two nights for my birthday, as we wanted to splurge a bit. This is a gorgeous, very well manicured 5-star resort. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a higher level room for my birthday, so that front desk staff knew how to make an impression. The room was crazy amazing fabulous. Look at their website pics as they are very accurate. Expedia includes two tours when booking, so we got a fabulous night frog tour, and a half-day personalized tour of their wildlife……

“Perfect spot to stay next to San Jose city-center. Everything is walkable from this small hotel which is half a block from the main square. Staff is very nice, helpful, English-speaking, and accommodating. Free breakfast is large and lots of choices. Room was HUGE and very clean, bathroom was very modern, and the bed was comfortable. High marks!!”
