“The location is fantastic, with the tramway stop right in front of the door, making it easy to get around. Just two blocks away is the main square, Calderón, which offers a vibrant atmosphere. There are plenty of eating options just steps away, making meals very convenient. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. One highlight was the breakfast room on the 9th floor, where I enjoyed great views of the city while dining. It really made the experience……

“First time in Cuenca, so I wasn't sure what sort of place the Hotel Azul would be. Boy, was I in for a pleasant surprise! Nothing over the top, but all aspects of this cozy place impressed me. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice view of the city and strong/ consistent Wi-Fi. The location is great -- a short walk down to the river or quick stroll to the city center (although there are plenty of affordable and tasty restaurants within a stone's throw). I assumed since I booked 2 rooms, the 4 members of my family and baby can stay comfortably in the rooms. But, being forced to pay for 1 member of my family was a surprise. “The property was great due to how close it was to the central part of the city. The staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel was clean and very well maintained. The only thing was you needed to be buzzed into the hotel after past 10pm. You would need for someone to let you in from the street after 10pm. ”
