“Though our stay was short, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was accommodating for our late arrival and self check-in was a breeze. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and provided a back door opening to a nice little walkout area with a courtyard. It was a very serene setting on the back area of the property. “We’ve frequently stayed at the Governor’s Inn. Room furniture and fixtures are a bit dated, but that’s the charm. The property is older, and every room has its quirks. Staff are friendly and there’s a restaurant and bar on the main floor. ”

“We stayed one night at the Cornish Inn. We were in room 19, The Captain’s Quarters. The room was huge and thoughtfully decorated with antique chairs and furniture in keeping with the old inn theme. The bed was comfortable and a mini fridge was provided. The room had tons of windows which let in a lot of natural light. We appreciated the pull down shades once night fell.
