“I had a great stay at the Peaceful Getaway in Sedgwick. Listing was just as described. Very cute and clean tiny home with everything an individual or couple might need. Beautiful spot to relax, and close to Blue Hill and other wonderful areas. (I recommend a walk through the Harriman Point Preserve in nearby Brooklin.) Check-in process was great, and although the main house is nearby it felt very private. I highly recommend this spot. ”

“Was enough for a one night stay. View of the mountain and close to Acadia National park. The cottage is listed to sleep three and it only sleeps two. That needs to be fixed in the websites description. ”

“We had some issues upon check-in with the propane. They got it all sorted very quickly and were kind about the whole situation. The view is spectacular and area is peaceful. My kids were in awe of the amount of fish they caught right off the dock. The house is very well stocked with all you’d possibly need. We would stay there again! ”

“This was the perfect cozy cottage for a stay before heading to Acadia. It was clean, well-stocked, and had charming decor. The host was very kind and welcoming. The cottage is situated on a beautiful, quiet property with a view of Cadillac Mountain in the distance.”

“This property had everything we needed for a weeks stay. It was close to many of the places we wanted to visit. Hosts were lovely people who answered questions promptly, and even let us borrow a cooler of theirs for a day trip, since we arrived by plane. Would recommend”

“We love to support small farms when we travel and this was a convenient location in between our plans in Portland and Acadia. The cottage is at the top of the hill with panoramic views. We woke up to thick fog which blanketed the scenery in clouds and made for scenery which we don't often get to see. The cottage is brand new and very clean and comfortable. We were sad we only stayed one night. The driveway is a bit steep and not paved. Our SUV handled it fine but a smaller car may have a bit of……

“This cottage was PERFECT! We loved that they had everything we needed for our stay, even a cooler to take for picnics in Acadia. The views were so pretty and so great to wake up to. The property manager was easy to correspond with and prompt at responding. We would highly recommend this rental. ”

“We chose to stay here for my birthday and to visit Acadia National Park. The cottage's cozy and beautiful (a truly architectural jewel). We wanted to find a peaceful and traditional way to relax and we found it here. The surroundings are stunning (truly loved/ enjoyed the sunrise with the lake's view, great get away from the city and to be able to see the stars at night). The owner is welcoming and attentive. “This is a charming, rustic property in a lovely setting and extremely quiet and peaceful! Our host Carol is wonderful, very thoughtful and helpful a truly lovely person! She shares great recommendations for hiking, fun places to get almost any kind of food you may be craving. This is not a fancy cottage, it's absolutely perfect for relaxing and is a perfect location for hiking and exploring. The stairs are very steep and the old fashioned claw foot tub with shower needs to be navigated……

“We used the cabin as a home base to explore Acadia while having a fun and beautiful place to come back and see the sunsets and sunrises on the water. The little heater was enough to keep us warm during the chilly fall week we were there. Was a great spot for the two of us!”
