“We loved staying at this cottage. Plenty of wow factor with all the character of the house. The house had no issues, super clean & comfortable. Our 2 dogs had no reaction to the house that any other dogs were ever in it, they were as calm as being at home, no other pet scents left behind. I chose this cottage because of its close proximity to the zoo & pottery shops. We traveled over 500 mi. from Pennsylvania, & it was worth the trip & the dogs loved it too. “The hosts were very easy to work with, and the house was in great condition. Very nicely decorated, modern, had all the necessities. The neighborhood--the street and nearby commercial district--are definitely in transition and not ideal for walking. We felt uncomfortable taking our dogs out, even as people who have lived in NYC/Chicago during the 80s :-). While it might feel different to people who are from the area or live on the street, it's a hard place to land for visitors.”

“It's a cool idea to have a small house with a fenced in yard for the dog, but there were other dogs on either side of the fences surrounding us and barking at our dog, There was also about a dozen old chewed on dirty real bones with the tendons, and muscles covered in bugs and dirt scattered around the yard that i had to clean up before I could let my dog in the yard so she wouldn't get sick eating them. The coffee maker did not work, and the heat did not work at first and the 3 hooks for……

“We were very lucky to have booked this wonderful property. The owners were great to work with and very accommodating. The house was perfect distance from all the golf courses and it was so well kept and comfortable. Super quiet and great to unwind. Felt like our home away from home. Highly recommend and hopefully we will be able to book again the future!”

“Very well equipped kitchen. The laundry facilities were much appreciated. The living room is comfortable as was the bed. Nice linens. No outdoor place to sit and relax but that was ok as we were there to see the area. The April flowers on the property were stunning.”

“We really enjoyed our stay! The rental was very clean, nicely decorated, with an equipped kitchen and relaxing backyard area. A very convenient location to downtown Southern Pines with shopping and nice restaurants. Both Chris and Crystal were very easy to work with. Would highly recommend property and will be rebooking for a future date.”

“Nicely updated, perfect space for our group of 5 and easy walk to village and the Holly Inn. Only thing I'd note is that the upstairs bedroom doesn't have a door and has a skylight in the ceiling. And while there was shampoo/conditioner/body wash, didn't like the scents. We loved playing cards game at the dining table with all the windows!”
