There is space for a car if you're driving (although I brought my bike!) “Spent a lovely few days at the Hobbit Cottage. It has a dog friendly garden and it is a short walk to Kames Bay. You can access the Cathedral of the Isles from the end of the cul-de-sac which takes less than 5 minutes. The cottage is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. June, our host, was very attentive and you only had to ask if you needed anything.”

“Great stay for myself, daughter and partner and grandchildren. It couldn't have been a better location for all of us, things to do for all ages.The property is located across the Clyde from Grenock, check your options for the ferries, it pays to purchase tickets before you board.Also the property is now painted grey not white as in the photos, it threw us a little when looking for the property. Nothing though to stop us completely enjoying our stay at the property. ”

“The cottage is cosy, clean and very inviting. Shiskine is a wonderful place to stay, quiet and very appealing. It's very close to Blackwaterfoot, which is beautiful.
