Waking up to that view every morning and watching and listening to a thunderstorm on one of the nights during my stay was so relaxing. “This property is everything. It has access to the Lake, hiking trails and an amazing local guide who can assist you with every aspect of your trip from transportation to ideas on things to do.The living space is very comfortable and rustic. Please take note that you are in the middle of the jungle with this studio and therefore there is a plethora of bugs that will also accompany you on your stay.The view is breath taking it positioned directly across from San Pedro, I believe but don’t quote me……

“The house is dirty, smells humid, dust everywhere, no hot water after 1 minute of shower, no a/c, everything is old and outdated, sheets and towels were stained, it’s in the middle of nowhere in the jungle. We found a scorpion in the bedroom. The only good thing is who manages de property, that service is amazing and will help you get everything organized and scheduled, but the actual property is not at all how it seems in the photos. I definitely do not recommend staying here or would stay……

“We loved this place. The views are incredible. The owner was in touch and made sure that everything ran smoothly with the caretaker. All the rooms on the top floor open onto a beautiful deck that looks out at the volcano. Santa Cruz is a very small village on the side of the mountain, but no problem if you don't want to walk up, you can go to the lake and walk along the shore to the tuktuks and the pier for water taxis. Tuktuks take you up the mountain to the village, and water taxis take you to……

“We stayed here with 6 adults and 4 kids and had an amazing time. The property is even better than shown in the pictures. The grounds keeper was incredibly helpful with our questions, this made the trip a lot easier. The pool and pool table area were great”

“The hotel room was fine. Not at all like was shown in the pictures. Mold in the corners of the room. The bathroom window, which opened out on to a corridor wouldn't lock either. The shower was hot or cold and the room lacked basics like a full length mirror or anywhere to hang clothes. The room had a small private terrace (which was overlooked by someone's bathroom). On the final night, loud music was being played from 2am until 3am. The rooms were very clean. Staff were reasonably friendly……

“Na verblijf was één grote tegenvaller. Het lijkt op de website alsof je in het Pink House verblijft, met gebruik van de keuken, maar dat was niet het geval. Eerst moesten we een half uur wachten omdat de eigenaar de boeking niet had gezien. We kregen daarna een zeer eenvoudige en niet erg schone kamer met alleen een tafel en een koelkast. We konden ons gekochte eten dus niet koken. Toen we gingen douchen sloegen de stoppen door. Dat bleek een bekend probleem. De eigenaar beloofde na veel boze……
