“Bare bones, but the room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was bottled water in the room and a hot shower (which in Costa Rica is not always a given). I was pleased, too, that they did come pick me up at the airport even though my plane arrived after stated shuttle hours. ”

“Beautiful property and landscaping.. the villa was so clean with comfy furniture and beds. The pool was so amazing and the views so so stunning. Great location for tourists, in the middle of all attractions. One thing I will say is after a full day of Costa Rica’s hot and humid weather we would have loved for the villa to have a/c. Most tourists are not use to this weather and want to come back to a cool home. It was hard to cook in the house because it was hot and humid. Even a ductless split……

“I like this place because it was so close to the airport and not real expensive. We only stayed one night so we could catch our plane early in the morning. At first I wasn’t sure how safe the area was when we first pulled up but once we stayed for a little while and watched the people walking around the streets we realized it was very safe. “I would have liked a clean pool. I suggest that tou have a book with instructions on what to do regarding the washing machine, garbage, etc. More pots and pans so you can cook and not have to eat out everyday. Other wise it was nice. ”

“Amazing stay, truly the Gem of Atenas. This will be our favorite place that we have stayed in Costa Rica after dozens of rental properties while traveling in CR. Hope everyone gets to experience this most wonderful house!”

“We had issue getting into the place at first but it was solved pretty quickly. There's a guard 24/7 at the gate. It is within walking distance of the mall and restaurants. The kids have individual room and they have their own bathroom. We rented a but we also did a lot of walking around the area when we just wanted to grab something to eat or go to the mall. ”
