“Very friendly and hospitable staff. They greeted us with juice, personal introductions and help with luggage upon arrival, and even washed our car overnight! Excellent cooked breakfast including omelette, crepes, and fresh fruit. We had a bit of trouble getting there due to Google maps sending us on a roundabout route (very narrow dirt road) when we should have gone straight from the main paved road to the front entrance. Overall, a pleasant overnight. ”

“Not as shown in pictures. Low key creepy… There was no free airport pickup (as suggested)—we had to pay. No running water, no toilet seat, bugs in the sink, no electrical outlets and very cold. We were also asked to pay twice. On the positive they fed us a nice breakfast. ”

The staff were extremely attentive and polite. All speak English. We loved the food so much my wife wanted to bring the chef home (joking of course, but high praise). “I can't say enough good things about Kaswende Farm. The owner was the most remarkable host I've ever met. He arranged for a pick-up for me and treated me like family on my arrival. It was my first day in Tanzania and in fact in Africa, and he did a remarkable job at getting me up to speed with what to be aware of while travelling through the country. The farm was very relaxing and I'm not sure, but I'm suspicious that some of the food I ate while there was grown on the farm itself. The……
