“I really enjoyed spending time at this hotel. The staff are very welcoming and wonderful people to be around. The staff made sure that I had a shuttle to go around town and a safe way to get there, had a secure place to store the remaining luggage, and they made delicious food for breakfast and at the restaurant. I would highly recommend to stay at the Stella Maris Lodge.”

“I stayed at Kaliwa Lodge for 4 nights and was impressed by the tranquil and peaceful environment. The terrace is a great place to watch the sacred Mountain Kilimanjaro at different times of the day, and be connected to the nature. I brought along my yoga mat to practise on the terrace every morning. Food is great too, they prepared wonderful vegetarian food for me on request everyday. Staff is very nice and treat every guest with their heart. I really enjoyed staying at Kaliwa Lodge. ”

“I highly recommend Pink Flamingo Hotel Kilimanjaro Tanzania. Leondro & Teresa are fantastic hosts. I was met by Leondro at 2am with a warm smile huge handshake and drink offers. True professionalism. They treated me like royalty for the entire time. The facilities are excellent, rooms exceptionally clean and very good size. There are Great outdoor & pool(s) areas. The bar - It’s a virtual bar. As the staff will give you a list where ever you are. Food times are when you need and very good……

“I loved the staff so friendly. Manager helped me with a cheaper route to the waterfall. Location wasn't the best as I need a ride to get anywhere but at least rides are cheap. Just be careful of not getting a agreed price before you go anywhere. As it will start at 2k and jump to 10k for little to no reason....the pool was very clean. And rooms were very nice. Asked for a air-conditioning...same day they INSTALLED it!!! Food was good. Really really loved the staff. Soo kind and some even knew……

“I can't say enough good things about Kaswende Farm. The owner was the most remarkable host I've ever met. He arranged for a pick-up for me and treated me like family on my arrival. It was my first day in Tanzania and in fact in Africa, and he did a remarkable job at getting me up to speed with what to be aware of while travelling through the country. “Lodge was nice. It’s older but they are doing their very best to maintain. Gardens and trees were mature. Pretty! Monkeys were fun to watch as they played and clambered through the trees. Food was good but limited options. Breakfast that was included was really good! Staff were kind and helpful. Shop was small, some souvenirs. Rooms were clean, some tiny and some much bigger even though we paid same rate 2 different stays (before and after our Kili climb). It met our needs for sure of a quiet……

“Brubru Lodge is amazing. The rooms are beautiful, the pool and garden is so clean and pretty. We had an amazing stay. Breakfast was delicious and we had dinner one day there it was really good as well. Its possible to get a transfer to the airport but it was quite expensive (70 dollar). To the main centre of moshi it takes you 25minutes by feet. It’s a perfect place to relax. ”

“The property is at a high level of accommodation for the area, however, broken fixtures and leaking toilets across the bathroom floor were issues we faced. “The overall atmosphere, plants , trees, poolside area was charming, The stafff were cheerful,welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent and began promptly at 6.30am. Very useful and important for those of us with abusy day ahead! The vening food was cooked to order and also delicious. The water heater in our room did not work but the room was otherwise good and the housekeeping also good.”
