“I stayed at Kaliwa Lodge for 4 nights and was impressed by the tranquil and peaceful environment. The terrace is a great place to watch the sacred Mountain Kilimanjaro at different times of the day, and be connected to the nature. I brought along my yoga mat to practise on the terrace every morning. Food is great too, they prepared wonderful vegetarian food for me on request everyday. Staff is very nice and treat every guest with their heart. I really enjoyed staying at Kaliwa Lodge. ”

“Great place to stay overnight before my flight out of Kilimanjaro Airport. ”

“I stayed one night upon arrival to Moshi. I was warmly greeted late at night. Check in was super easy. They take a copy of your passport. My room - even though I’d booked a single - was much larger and had a double & single beds. Room was clean and tidy with enough plugs for charging your gadgets. There were toiletries including toothbrushes, soap, shampoo & lotion. Breakfast was included and I even got a nice chef-made omelette. They have a nice sitting area by the pool or you can sit inside.……

“The garden area felt like a little slice of paradise with bunnies running around freely helping to maintain the grass - as well as donkeys. Monkeys were climbing in the trees, and occasionally a large turtle would cross the lawn. The place itself was very calming and the staff sweet and helpful.”

“I had a wonderful stay. The staff were endlessly courteous, friendly and helpful. The location in the middle of Moshe was great. It is a great location for walking around the town. The roof top bar was a joy to sit at and see the sunset and mount kilimanjaro. The food was delicious and beautifully served ”

“Lovely quiet lodge with beautiful gardens and swimming pool. Lovely friendly staff and great food. ”

“There were 16 of us staying here over 4 days and we had such a great stay! The rooms were comfortable, the food excellent, the pool is nice, and the staff were fantastic! “El personal que trabaja ahí es lo mejor del lugar, siempre dispuestos a ayudar, sobre todo Borealis. Está ubicado a las afueras de Moshi pero por 3000 tshilling tienes un bajaji que te lleva al centro en 10 minutos. Por otra parte, el restaurante del hotel tiene sólo un puñado de platos y bastante caro. Nuestra habitacion era bastante pequeña (la más pequeña de todas) y hacia bastante calor, incluso con el ventilador a tope. No puedes abrir las ventanas porque hay muchos mosquitos.... ”
