“Quinta de Recião has numerous properties. This review is for the one-bedroom cottage (Casa do Moinho - the Mill House) The Mill House is a beautiful property, hosted by beautiful people. The main room has kitchen, table, lounge, small TV and a fire. The separate bedroom has two single beds with an adjoining bathroom. The cottage sits right on the edge of the Rio Varosa (Varosa River) and the sound of running water is peaceful and calming. There is the option to have a home cooked meal……

“This is a room to remember! It is apparently new judging from the pristine condition and stylish modern amenities. The private hot tub on the patio is a welcome amenity after a long day of sightseeing and port wine tasting. The view out the windows is pastoral and inviting. Its just a short distance from the town, but its not practical to walk anywhere from here so we recommend if you have a car or are happy to use rideshares. The driveway entrance is non-descript so pics are below to help……

“De passage pour un mariage, très bons échanges avec l'hôte qui s'est occupée de nous bien en amont pour nous faciliter l'accès au logement, eau fraîche petits biscuit et bouteille de porto pour nous accueillir au top! Très bonne literie maison de village très cosy avec parking privé parfait dans cette region ou les ruelles étroites empêchent le stationnement extérieur. Je recommande ”

“Au début on était pas certain de l’emplacement car est sur une petite rue dans le village, mais finalement c’était parfait. On a profiter de la piscine, croisière fluviale Duoro a 30 minutes, vignobles et même Porto a 1:30, alors ce fait très bien aller retour. ”

“A casa tem condições excelentes, é muito bonita e está muito bem conservada. Eramos um grupo de 15 pessoas e passamos um fim-de-semana excelente muito bem passado sem necessidade de sair de casa. A comunicação entre a Feel Discovery e a Proprietária tem que melhorar, mas conseguiu-se resolver tudo.”

“A beautiful house on the river with amazing views. Bakery right next door and a wonderful restaurant just up the street. It was nice finding the "everything you need" also just up the street and discovering they also make wine! Not a complaint, but know there are a lot of stairs so not a good choice for mobility challenged. I would certainly stay again!!!”

“Gostamos muito da nossa estadia tanto na moradia quanto na Vila. Fabio é o anfitrião muito solicito todo o tempo e nos deixa a vontade bem como tem ótimas dicas! A localização da morada é bem estratégica, tanto para quem queira um turismo rural ou um turismo mais metropolitano pois está perto dos grandes centros do Centro e Norte de Portugal. Com certeza voltaremos a nos hospedar aqui e recomendaremos aos amigos. Sem sombra de dúvidas uma ótima experiência.”
