“Three of us stayed Tabuaco for the vineyard visit. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained; the only main issue is that there's no elevator, so we had to draw our luggage for a couple stairs to reach the lobby and then three floors to the room. I was hoping that the room would be a bit bigger as it's a triple room. It's was in a quiet and clean neighborhood and we accidentally found a bar close by, quelha funda bar, which we love so much. The atmosphere was great and the draft beer……

“The property is so tranquil and relaxing with beautiful views of the valley & river. The hosts Paul & Valeria made us feel so welcome. Very friendly and helpful with all our needs. With only 4 rooms currently, the place is intimate and at times all to yourself. Beautiful infinity pool, wood burning hot tub & sauna all with outstanding views. I would love to return when everything is in bloom. Highly recommend Quinta de Raj!! ”

“Anna was the most helpful accommodating hostess. The property was a bit difficult to find but once we found it it was amazing. A bit difficult for parking but we are finding that to be a problem all over Portugal. We would be happy to stay again 😊 ”

“Room with private external bathroom in this historic home that was like a living museum. Excellent value for money. Large, spacious with everything we needed for a good overnight stay. We feel privileged to have been able to stay here. We were also able to make use of a washing machine in the basement. Walking the Camino Torres this was an added advantage to our trip. We left very early the next morning, so could not make use of the well located cafe across the road for breakfast, but could use……

“Spectacular on all counts. Set amidst breathtaking, steep vineyards, the beautifully maintained Quinta is an essence of peace and elegance. The property is a complex of solid stone buildings with tasteful architecture, nestled at the bottom of the valley in perfect harmony with its surroundings. Every detail, big and small, is thoughtfully cared for. The atmosphere is perfectly peaceful and green, with only the songs of birds waking you in the morning. “La propriétaire est charmante, malgré qu' elle ne parle pas un mot d'anglais ni de français, elle se débrouille avec son téléphone et nous donne tous les renseignements nécessaires et les bons restaurants où aller. Le déjeuner est très bon, un vrai déjeuner familial. L' etat des lieux n' est pas parfait mais l' expérience humaine avec les propriétaires compassent totalement. Une vraie immersion portugaise que je referais sans hésiter. ”
