“This is a great place to stay if you prefer being in the heart of the city. The friendly staff were welcoming, assisting with any questions I had about the facility or Ponta Delgada. Breakfast was served as ordered and on-time. The modernized accommodations were very clean. The pool area while small provided a space to relax. I would recommend Casa da Galeria.”

“They are very helpful in all aspects, from booking tours, booking our taxi for airport transport. They where very accommodating with early check in and late check out due to our flight times. They have an area to hold our luggage so we could explore Açores luggage free. They are also very fast with replying to messages especially while in Açores! Apartment was clean and they cleaned daily and gave us fresh towels! ”

“We had a wonderful stay with our our 2-year old! Communication was great throughout and we were even able to check in a little bit early. The location is perfect and it feels very safe. They provided a travel cot, a high chair as well as a baby bath, which was lovely. The rooms are spacious and the kitchenette has everything you need (though I wish the microwave door opened the other way as it's a bit awkward to get into). “The quality and size of the “apartments” (they’re basically houses, it’s great) is phenomenal for the price. To have a private back deck, many air conditioners, a kitchen, a nice bathroom, FOUR sets of sliding doors.. it was great. Friendly cats run the grounds, par for the course in Europe. Parking is a little tight and it’s in a quaint area of the island but those very small “negatives” are so heavily outweighed by the friendliness of staff, 24 hour pool and big clean rooms that it’s barely……

“Place was just as pictured. Clean. Ideal location. Comfiest beds we had in our 5 week vacation. Staff had limited English, but decent French (and significantly better than my Portuguese), so overall no difficulties communicating with them. They were very responsive on WhatsApp and willing to help with booking excusions, willing to provide information. Very happy with our stay (except for the weather, but can’t control when storms decide to pass by). ”

“Am Besten war die Terrasse, wo wir jeden Tag frühstückten und zu Abend aßen. Wir waren umgeben von einem verwilderten Garten, in dem viele Bananen und andere Früchte wuchsen, leider alle unreif. Das Nachbargrundstück ist noch ein Feld, aber man sieht schon Pläne, dass dort typische enge geschichstlose Ferienhäuser gebaut werden sollen. Es gibt viele für das Land typische Geräusche wie Hähne, Hunde und Kühe und Tiere unter dem Dach, was uns nicht störte. Der etwas modrige Geruch war schon eher……

“Enjoyed our stay at Villa Maria 2. The attention to detail in construction, upkeep, furnishings and amenities was greatly appreciated. Having a startup supply of food soaps and paper products was a pleasant surprise. The hospitality and trip suggestions from Sergio was such a bonus. We would happily recommend and would be pleased to return. The view from the patio and Gardens in the rear were lovely spaces to relax and enjoy the Beautiful scenery. The bread delivery was such a treat!”
