“The hotel is located 20 mins from Nazare and 10mins from Alcobaca. Its a hidden gem in the mountains.
The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Always with a smile. The suites all have a balcony and view of the valley.
Breakfast spread was good. One of the best Frssh oranges i enjoyed was here. The kiwis were also fresh, sweet n juicy.
Only peeve i had was with the internet router. Each room has its own wifi router and its from the TV. If you turn off the tv, internet is shutoff..

“Our room was in the new building and was like a studio apartment. We didn't use any of the kitchen area as we stayed only one night. Friendly and welcoming lady at the reception who heled us with our luggage and finding parking garage. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and delicious. Staff cleaned tables quckly and refreshed buffet items continually. I would highly recommend staying at Hotel Magic.”
“Great stay. Very cute town. Stayed one night. Had great dinner and breakfast at hotel restaurant. Rooms are pretty, curated by artists. Property premises very nice - be on the lookout for wild peacocks! Clean rooms and bathroom. Excellent customer service by Alinha at front desk - very welcoming and friendly. The family room was great for our family of 4 - lots of stairs, but it is Europe after all. AC units in each room!! ”
“The hotel occupies about a third of the monastery and has been fully renovated. It is very clean and quite spacious. Definitely a very unique experience and there is no other place like this. Great water pressure in the shower. The included breakfast is spectacular. The center of the city is just behind the hotel building - a quick walk to shops and restaurants.

“The owner (Francisco) was so nice and accommodating. All the power went out in Portugal for 10 hours so we could not go out for dinner or buy supplies. He and his family provided dinner and wine for all the guests. What a great stay. Their house is beautiful and has been in the family for 100 years. I would go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend it. Don’t stay anywhere else but here! BTW the castle is awesome!”
