“For a quiet relaxing getaway for two or a fun family vacation, this is a great choice and Mary is the hostess with the mostest!! Tucked away at the top of the hill off the highway, it is surrounded with natures beauty. Mary prepared the fire pit with firewood and even the fixings for s’mores! We were warmly welcomed with homemade Amish bread and some snacks and drinks. Lots of indoor and outdoor games to play, books to read, and a boat ramp just across the street. “Buddies and I do a fishing trip every spring. This is year our 13th year. This is one of the most convenient places we’ve stayed. The dock is right there within walking distance. You could also walk to a diner nearby. It had everything we needed for our stay. We brought two boats and had hookups for them. Overall great trip and we’d definitely book here again. If I had to pick to thing that’s the only negative is the zero cancellation policy. Because unfortunately life happens. But the rest was……

“ Our stay was great!! And loved the outdoors. My husband could not find the 3 ponds that were listed. There was a note on frig about the ponds, he could not find but one. “We stayed for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The location is great. We walked to Wintzell's for dinner our first night and had a wonderful meal. The next day we rented a pontoon for the afternoon and explored Lake Guntersville. Spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the lake, watching the cranes, ducks and turtles. We even saw an eagle. Great place to stay. ”

“I planned a two night trip with my Husband and our 8 year old daughter for Valentine's Day. It was clean and very cozy. Plenty to do there and my daughter loved the bounce houses and the arcades.
