“We feel comfortable ”

“I enjoyed three nights at Lake House on the Bruce Peninsula. I wanted a little get away and a nostalgia trip to some favourite places in the area. Lake House fulfilled my objectives perfectly. I did a few meals on site with the well equipped kitchen and Denise supplied a welcoming vase of fresh herbs and later some peas and cucumber from her garden. “We enjoyed our stay so much last year we returned, only to find some upgrades!!! The garage was turned into a summer kitchen\entertainment area, the deck was enlarged and new furniture added. We love the layout that allows everyone their own space when needed. it’s central location permits easy access to downtown, nearby towns and events as well as quick access to Port Elgin’s incredible beach. The owners are quick to answer any texts and contacted us early on our stay to see if we needed……

“This is a very beautiful new house. Even our 9, 7 and 4 year olds recognized that. The decorating choices were much to our taste. The location was great. Walkable to the beach but away from the hustle and bustle of the main area. The outdoor deck and fire pit were very nice. The kitchen was well stocked but being a party of 7 we would have appreciated more dishes especially plates. We bought paper plates to get us through. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.”
