“Nice place”

“I wanted to stay at a place that was peaceful, ocean front, small and cute lol and this place was all of the above and more! Everything was great for me. It is not right by the super touristy areas. It took me around 30 minutes to drive to Noord and 15-20 to Oranjestad. Then when I left to visit those areas I couldn’t wait to get back to Savaneta! I have to say that it was honestly difficult for me to leave the hotel in the first place because I loved it so much. There’s a selection of local and……

“The only two issues that we had were there was no hot water in the shower and the tv remote did not work, I was told someone would bring me one but that never happened. Overall great place!”

“ I loved the general quaintness of the property. Our host was very helpful with a delightful personality. The property could use some sprucing up but the possibilities are wonderful! We stayed in the nook room and enjoyed the outdoor shower. It would have been nice to supply us with washcloths in the bathroom. If you are not looking for a lot of amenities, and want a very quiet getaway, this would be a good choice. ”

“We loved our stay at this beautiful property. It is a little out of the way of the city life but makes up for it with absolute peace and tranquility. We took full advantage of the many outdoor seating areas and the pool. It was like our own resort. Alfons and Alicia are very accommodating hosts and the communication with them was prompt and helpful. The house was clean and functional. “Unique experience in converted shipping containers. The place is clean but could use some additional maintenance. The room itself did not have hot water, showers are solar heated, i.e. lukewarm at best. The grounds are a work in progress, the caretakers are busy working but looks like it'll be a while before everything is updated. Random trash lying around on the ground around the exterior common areas was a disappointment. The food is just as expensive as restaurants around Aruba, but of lower……
